Hello, I’m Mike Wrightson, proud owner of Bug Bully Pest Control, and also the one who will be showing up to your door when you schedule your next pest control service with me.
When I’m not solving bug and rodent issues, I enjoy golfing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, reading business books, learning to fly helicopters, and trying to salsa dance.
I graduated from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. I then began working towards obtaining my Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) license shortly after that. While attending school at night, I worked for a large pest control company during the day. This is where my love for pest control began. I have been in the pest control field for almost ten years now.
I thoroughly enjoy the work, and finding solutions to customer’s pest problems. While working for the larger pest control company I started with, I realized that what I really wanted was my own business with a more personal, hands-on experience with the customers.
I felt that there was a better way to do business, so I spent many hours and months studying how to start up a business. I taught myself how to make a website, produce pest control videos, and marketing techniques. In 2013 I started Bug Bully Pest Control.
Thanks to amazing customers, just like you, Bug Bully, located in Grafton, MA, grew over 50% our first year, mainly due to recommendations and word-of-mouth from those who have used my pest control services. Unlike some of the larger companies, my main focus when going to a customer’s home or place of work is doing a great job and having satisfied long-term customers.
Having the flexibility to help people every day with their pest problems has truly been rewarding. I also do my best to meet everyone’s needs, which is something I couldn’t do working for a large corporate company. I am here to help customers in any way possible because without loyal customers just like you, we wouldn’t be here.
So with that being said, I look forward to speaking with you soon so that I can ask, how can I help you?
We had mice ‘visitors’ over the winter and Mike came out same day to take care of the problem. When we needed him a second time because the ‘food’ was all gone and he again came out same day. He is professional and I love that we are supporting a local business! We also signed up for the maintenance and he has already been out once to spray foundation, etc, and he found and took care of a hornets nest already. We would highly recommend him!
I called Bug Bully, spoke to Mike who immediately identified my problem! He indicated he was available to come over the following day to accommodate my schedule and resolve my “Bald face hornet” problem. He was professional, explained the species of the hornet and neatly removed not 1 but 2 large nests from my house! I have young children and after being stung myself 3 times I knew it was time to call a True Professional like Mike. Thanks again, Mike, I will keep you in mind and highly recommend his services to anyone. I could only give it 5 stars otherwise he would get 10** THANK YOU!!!
“I was very happy with the service I received from Bug Bully. Mike was very professional, courteous and honest. He was very accommodating and flexible. He scheduled an appointment around my schedule. He was very easy to talk to and assured me he would resolve the issue. Mike is an honest business man who can be trusted and stands behind his product. The reviews written on Bug Bully were a big factor in me choosing this company. I felt it was necessary to write a review on my personal experience with Bug Bully. Highly recommend this company”
Last Friday night Kennedy went to bed and let out a huge scream! There was a bee in her room. Yes, she’s that girl. We have seen bees in there in the past but thought they were gone. Guess not.
Saturday I went online and search for pest control in my area and within an hour or so Mike msged me back saying he could be here later that day. Super friendly, professional and reasonably priced.
Joked about the irony of bees being in her room since that is the theme in her room. I cracked on him about looking like a ghost buster. Haven’t seen a bee since. Highly recommended!
